its with a heavy heart that I post this update.

on the 8th of may at 00.02am leaving for home from my pre birthday supper when the unexplainable happened.

if I had to explain, nobody would believe me, its always sad when I think about it but its time to face the truth that my 335i is no more.

theres so much I had in store, firstly, the lime green stripe was getting a bit faded so we had it replaced with a bottle green metallic vinyl stripe, the flap on the left side exhaust was giving a loud rattle on a cold start which was going to be sorted out.

although we suffered minor injuries, main thing is the family is still alive.

ever since this incident, the search for a new car had us looking all over. there were a few promising ones but if it wasn't the price, it was the finance status. we've come across an e92 335i (n55 m-dct) that was on the cards but at the 40 point check things took a nose dive when bmw ballito had picked up that the vehicle had been previously modified and failed the point check.

a good dealer in Durban central had an M135i that was available, so that was what was going to be the replacement for the e90. Monday the 23th was when we were going to have a look at the m135i, take it out for a test drive and what not when at 10am we'd get a call saying "you wanted a 335i, we've got one for you"

we drive to the dealership and there it was

2013 Estoril Blue (2) 335i 8A M sport with tan interior

Paperwork done, car all cleaned and taken home and then to the temple for prayers.

tried uploading images however the files are gone missing, so once I upload to another picture hosting site, I'll share it with everyone.

To be honest. This was a freak accident bro, there's no clear evidence of an accident at the point of impact.... the car started doing its own things, went left when right and straight across the road to the emergency lane, not obstructing any traffic flow... this happened opposite the cemetery on the R102 towards verulam

its the progress of life though .. these things happen for its own reasons ...

.. the missing file upload usually happens when an image is too large from what ive noticed .. maybe try downscale the image and repost .. would love to see the new 335 ..
