If you looking to sell might as well make a for sale thread, you might get more than you being offered currently.

+1 With Andreas, don't decat. Gets too raspy and I wouldn't pay top dollar for a car that had its cats removed, just taking away its originality and with such low mileage the cats should still be fine.

The joy of owning and driving this Machine is way more rewarding then R320k in the bank IMO.

Stunning car!!!!!!
Love the colour combination!

The kids will have to suck it up and go to gymnastics classes- then they can tumble into the back no problem.

Enjoy it bud, I'll have to come visit one lunchtime to check it out

What happened to the for sale thread? All I remember is Andreas mentioning some issues and the thread went away?

All will be cleared on monday. Andreas told me he heard that the car was involved in an accident in 2005. The guys at JSN and BMWSA have no records of an accident on the car. The one owner that the car had also states the car was never in an accident and the only damage to the car was a pavement bump which i saw before the purchase which bmw repaired before i took delivery. The front bumper was cracked.

I have removed the post to gather all the information on the comment of the car and will put the sale add back when i am confident enough to know what happened

We have sent the car for a quality check and there are no body work or signs that the car was ever in an accident. All dates on suspension parts show march 2004 which indicates that nothing was changed.

Like i said nobody have any records including BMW SA. Donovan and Nivz are on the forum and work for JSN who can confirm this.

All the comment shows is the date and mileage which was around 1000km.

I am waiting to hear back from bmwsa as they said if no proof or evidence can be found. The comment will be removed.

While this is going on i will hold on to the car and work on it as planned.

Good to hear, I hope it's just a glitch for your sake. And I hope you don't sell. :)

Great stuff Karsh. It's the best way to do things ... get the facts first instead of having your for sale thread turned into a mudslinging battle. I'm sure the experts who know so much more about your car, which you bought under your discretion and satisfaction, will be mature enough to appreciate your honesty and the facts rather than drag rumours out to discredit your sale.
