My e46 328i, *2nd accident*

Got myself a new camera, a Canon 450D, so decided to mess around and take a few pics, I LIKE :excited:
Still gotta figure out the camera and all the tricks of the trade so bear with me here, Onto the pics
Savannah mall provided some interesting shots
Then off to McDonalds for one or two more
The following day I just had to try out a rolling shot, I think it didn't come out too bad
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a camera to learn

Nice pics and glad you got your car back.. from what one can see on the pics is they did really good sorting her out. Panels line to the bonnet, gaps the same on both side.. Very good job and yes stay away from reversing trucks..

Hey guys howsit it going,
Got a mini update, during last week i finally received my smoked front indicators after having my accident and fitted them, Looking hot as hell.
I would show you but i have another update, Driving up Munnick street about to cross Grobler street on Tuesday at 11:10am a Honda Civic sedan decided to jump the red light and take me out, YUP ANOTHER accident :argh:
He came down grobler towards savannah mall, hit me in the front left wheel, then proceed to hit a car travelling in the opposite direction to me on the right rear then causing a bakkie to slam into his car causing a 4 car pile up in grobler streer :beaten:
Anyways onto the pics
The car that hit me (that's not the driver of that vehicle)
The scene with my car in the back
The guy traveling in the opposite direction to me
My baby having to be taken home cause the front left wheel refuses to respond to the steering wheels commands
My car after it was off loaded at our house
Anyone care to guess the cost of the damages, I'm worried about it being written off Not looking forward to seeing the assessor !

Is your car insured?
Is the car freehold (not owing any money to a finiancial institution)?
If so then it might actually be an ok thing if the car is a write off. In most cases you have the opportunity to buy the car back at a seriously discounted price.
so you will receive a cash payout which will be = insured value of the car - the excess - the buy back value of the car.
if things do go this route, you can get the car repaired cash, still have an awesome 328i, and have some money in the bank. If you buy the car back, it should not receive any codes and will remain as a used vehicle. I had a similar situation with my 318i, but chose not to buy it back.
alternatively, depending on the insured value of the car you might wanna let it go and put in a lil more cash and get yourself a 330i.

@ XMAX, My car isn't insured due to financial restraints, and today I was informed that the driver that hit us is also uninsured :argh:
The car is fully paid for so not a cent owing on it at least, I do not wanna lose the car if possible so I'm actually not sure whats gonna happen from here on out.
We going to see a lawyer and see what suggestions will arise from that, There is a camera at that intersection that was installed for the soccer world cup but I'm not sure of the direction it points or if its even on for that matter but I'm going to try find out.
