Been lurking around the forum a while now, taken some time to actually introduce myself.
Introduced to the world of bmw in 2008 with an alpine white 2003 330i sportpack, black leather, wood trim, HK sound, the works. what a machine. Will have to post some pics of it some time later. sold it in about april with only 110kkm on the clock. i still dont know why.
spent a few months regretting the decision and pining badly. eventually found something to re-ignite the spark, found it on the gum, 103kkm on the clock, 1998 santorini blue e36 ///M. Did all the background checks i could on the car which seemed to check out, but it was driving it when it just blew my mind that it pulled so strong..
had it checked by mike salt who gave it the thumbs up as an honest car and a great buy, which i must say i was worrying about when buying a 2nd hand ///M. i bought it 100% stock, with the exception of the polished rims (which arent my favourite, but still the shape is one of the best rims ever), and plan to keep it that way.
have had it at tunetech a few times since taking ownership, 2x oil services, all fluids changed, propshaft couplings replaced, and also replaced the big end bearings as preventative maintenance.
the irony of purchasing the ///M is that i sold the E46 because of the upcoming maintenance. the time and effort to maintain these cars in top condition is not to be laughed at, but the reward is great.
hope you guys like, i know i do!
