Have a bit of a steering fluid leak issue but not sure where its originating from so I had to clean everything underneath as much as I could to see where the leak is. Need to remove steering rack to clean final bit. Pics below

I must ask, where did you get that paint job? It is nothing short of amazing!

Thanks bud. Was done at Dent City in Stikland. Very reasonable prices and great service.

So a 'small' update.

I have been toying with this idea for a while (+-4 years) and finally took the plunge last week.

I wanted to do a DIY and post it to the forum but there are some nice onces already uploaded.

The DIY took me about a day (mostly because it was my first time doing it but it could possibly be done in a few hours if you know what you are doing).

Took the old 2.93 diff out and replaced with a 'new' 3.46 diff.

Was told that this is the best bang for buck mod for these cars and it does not disappoint.

Although clear that it has no substantial effect on the power output, the most noticeable difference is when power is delivered.

When using the 2.93 diff one needed to ref the engine quite high to ensure that it stays in the optimal power ref range when changing gears. For instance you would need to change gears at 5 000RPM+ to ensure that the next gear is in optimal power range.

What the 3.46 does is keep you in the optimal power range without reving the nuts of the engine. Should you change gears at 3 500RPM the next gear is ready at 3 000RPM which means its immediately ready to start delivering power again.

Really enjoying this mod and would recommend it for anyone. Even with a 5 speed box the revs arent too high when doing 120kmh on the N1.
