Well done Sash. How much of a difference did the poly bushes make with the drive?

Thanks Prev, I am still bedding in the brakes and hardly drive the car , so havent pushed it in the corners, normally driving, no noticeable difference.

The grease supplied, is copper slip :tease:

Well done Sash, I am sure it feels might tighter. Have you done the end links yet? My old bushes & std ones which came with the z4m ARB I bought could also flex as much as your old ones.

:clapper:
Thanks Dewald, the supplied grease is white and super smooth, while the copper grease i purchased some time ago is copper is colour and is probably not as smooth so i think the powerflex grease is way better than the one i purchased.

I was amazed at the difference in the flex. I changed the front end links about 2 months ago, check the previous post, i used lemforder from Sean. THe rears werent changed and when i removed the ARB, they seemed to be fairly tight, not like the fronts which were almost loose.

Also had the drl's changed to led ones. Hope to change the remainder of the lights soon.

With the e60, its better to remove the light due to lack of space

Even with the light out, it was still tight.

Hi Sash,

I see you say "LED" ones? did you have to do anything else besides just swap the bulbs? I changed mine a while back as well but they not LED as far as I recall, they are just the Blueish/White replacement bulb (stand corrected - will need to refresh my memory and have a look) but I am not too happy - they are cool once it starts going dark but during the day they are not all that bright. And jeepers, its a bloody mission trying to fiddle in the light even with the unit removed - its sooo tight that two fingers are an issue to get in!! Where did you get them from and costs as a matter of interest?

These were led, came with a little box on the end as well, I realise now that i didnt take a pic of pic itself... Mine were almost identical to the pic below with silver little boxes.

Found a guy on gumtree who had them for R1200. They were not the chinese ones but he bought for his E60 and sold it before fitting.

Had a look at the box for mine and they are Cree, just cant remember if they had that additional "box' on the wire. I tended to forget about the fitting and what they were just because it was such a pain in the arse fitting them.... :)

It was definitely a pain, I think mainly because it is the first time the bulbs are getting removed, everything is tight.

Will take a pic in the parking this afternoon, it is bright enough I think during the day.

Had some time to myself after sending the family out of the house so decided to destress, what better way than this....

A good wash and some wax.

Some reflections

The good thing about these wheels is that I can wax them on the car , all the way to the inner part.

All done
