Sash, congrats on a great buy. You've chosen the best colour too. I used to have one and they are fantastic to drive in the 3.0 d version. No lack of power, spacious, great boot space and best of all, you got it in m sport.Sport seats, chunky steering wheel, 18s- well done

My frist official mod was the sound, which can be found here

my second official mod was the led number light as one was a tad bit dull. Thanks to Vischal for arranging to meet and fitting them.

Still my favourite colour :=):

Yeah, the LED is wayyy better. Mine is done too. The only bulbs I didn't change is the map reading lights. Too bright when there is a need for them and it distracts me

Need to budget for the other bulbs, had 2 trips to durbs this month so it took a toll on the pocket.

after purchasing some goodies from Crazydetailer i decided it was about time to actually use them. I had cleaned my wheels when i first purchased the car, but lack products made it a daunting task and eventually not up to my standard.

I just happened to start with the worst wheel and just took pics of that. I took off one wheel at a time and this was what i had to work with

I started with KLeen Green and just agitated with a brush both front and back, after rinsing I used Auto Glym Custom WHeel cleaner. According to instructions on the bottle it only should be on the wheel for a minute, which is just enough time to agitate any stubborn dirt.

After rinsing off again we have the following results.

I thereafter tried something different which i have never done on my wheels before but am sure other detailers have. I used the menzerna combo although by hand not machine to polish. This is the area before polishing, doesnt look too bad, but also hard to capture the imperfections

I then did a 50/50 to see if my efforts were worth it. The finer scratches have disappeared as well as much better shine and smoothness. I clayed the rims previously so skipped that step this time.

Not much other progress pics but I used the combo mentioned above and thereafter applied Rim Wax. The last step was the Optimum-Opt Bond tyre gel( also first time use and quite impressed - lets see how it holds up) The end result was a much smoother rim, both inner and outer.
