My 2017 Golf 7R

Hi guys,

So after starting a new job that has gotten very demanding i decided to sell up the 335i and the Golf 5 GTI and get one car to run around with daily and have abit of fun in the process.

After viewing a few options i decided to go for a Golf 7R.

Was lucky enough to get a December 2017 model that has already gotten the revised parts.

Car is white and packed with some good extras and has extended warranty till 120k km until 2022.

Options listed are:
Keyless start and keyless entry
Push start
Panoramic roof
Dynaudio Entertainment system
PDC with reverse camera
DCC suspension
19" Pretoria wheels

Really enjoying the car so far. Has a great feel and very comfortable.

So far i can say that outright power you cannot compare the 2. The power my 335 had it would be unfair to compare it to the Golf which is stock.

I can say that the launch on the golf is just insane. In race mode settings the golf is planted to the ground. You get that go-cart feel and you get a more confident feel around corners where you dont feel uneasy to push more power into it.

Driving around in comfort settings its a pleasure to sit in and gives a really nice drive.

Honestly after checking around what was available around my price bracket this made perfect sense when it come to value for money. Personally the Audi S3 interior was not to my liking. The 340i was my first option out of the 3 but after driving the golf it just suited my end goal that i needed to archive.

as the mods start going on i think it will be much more fun to drive. Its really silent at the moment :biglol:
