Space,

No way even remotely did you overstay your welcome.

I need to apologize for not being able to help you out earlier, as yesterday was just totally insane (as is most of my days)

Glad you got it sorted.

looks good. Where did you source your HID kit, angel eyes and parking light LED from?

you can polish your headlight lense btw. may need to laminX it because polishing will strip the UV protection layer, and it will yellow again.

sourced from vsomai

Want to wrap all the lights on the car with a gun smoke or tint...

we'll see how it goes

how hard was it to strip out the headlight and pull it apart?

did you aim it after you put it back in?
Probably should have asked you to take pics as you went along

With the right tools, its pretty easy.

Taking out the headlight involves 4 screws (un-clipping the indicator 1st, to get to the one screw)

Separating the headlight itself is easy. Just Un-clip it all. The only danger here is to be super careful with the plastic clips. I broke about 3 :( (fragile!!!)

Removing the lens is simple (flat screw driver takes out the silicon)

I didn't put those lens back in (but its easy to line them up again and glue them on)

Positioning the angel eyes was tough as I put the ones on the outside further back (on the main head light). While the ones on the inside were glued to were the lens were placed. They are angled and not flat to each other.

Just make a hole in the back cover (where you access and replace the globes) for the wires from the angel eyes (and H1 canbus kit)

The wiring took me awhile as I wasn't sure what to connect the rings to (considered my fogs so I could put them on when I wanted to). Decided the park lights.

My head lights are different, so it took me awhile to figure out what to do with the second one.

This is the problem, they all different, on my 1997 328i individual it was easy, remove two metal clips and glass cover comes off.....on my 1995 325 it was baking in oven, hacking at rock hard silicone....on my 1994 325i convertable it was heat gun or oven and glue became tacky and lense came off easy and then re heat and it seals again nicely.....Who knows what the story is with these lights :argh:

The car was in mall parking...I can only assume some one walked into my car

It can be difficult to see, considering its yellow

I cant see the pics where the car is fixed

I think a bmw is the only car acceptable in yellow. (except for the italian stallions)
