Coming back together nicely, I bet you cannot wait for the finished product! Personally I wouldn't have painted M3 mirrors and roof black, just doesn't suit the car at all.

you must be super happy to have your car back looking so good like that, well done to zaleonardz for a really nice job, the bonet looks to be lining up beautifully.

I see you have a right hand side brand new headlight but the left hand one still looks like the old one? I think you should try source out a new lense for the left light, you can buy just the lense from autostyling, and its glass. that should make the car look all round awsome!

Leonard is a Genius. Well done.

I saw this car at LZ's shop a few times I went past and every time I saw it, I was amazed at how he fixed it.

Really looks good in the flesh. Well done!!!

Glad your happy bud, always the most important...

This car was a bit of a challange as the entire frame had shifted, but the guys got it sorted

Thank you for being so patient :)

That is just beautiful work! It surely must be very satisfying to hand back a car that has been so wonderfully finished!

Great work LZ and your team of craftsmen! (or craftspeople!)

Thanks buddy...was wondering how best to sort that out

(thought it just needed a good cleaning)

Upgrading the headlights to h1 and angel eyes, today or tomorrow.

Any step by step instructions out there?

(H1 kit and angels eyes was sourced by vsomai. Thanks bud)

Its quite a job to get the old glass lense off on some of them as you need to either stick in an oven to get the glue heated and tacky which will then allow you to remove the lense which you will need to do anyway if you want to install angel eyes.

Then to put it back together you heat it up again and stick it back together, the problem is some of them didn't use the heat active glue and instead used a very tought silicone that is quite a mission to take appart, I did he same here but used a heat gun and a stanly knife and cut away at the thing and eventually got it appart, it was a interesting job lol, then to put it back together after that I just used silicone and held the lights together with cable ties till it was dry.

Maybe there is a easier way to do it online but that was how I tackled the job a couple years ago when I still had an E36 :)
