You can get a M bumper from Autostyling in streijdom park randburg, its not that fibre glass shit, its quality plastic and it comes with the front mesh(Proper plastic mesh just like the proper M3 front mesh, not that wire cheap shit) and the trims, it looks completely OEM! I think its about a grand! I Put one of those on every E36 that I owned and never had any problems!

Space,

This is something to take a look at bud, not the first referral I have heard from the autostyle ones.

Your choice,

Perhaps if you have a moment, pop out to autostyle and take a look, can save you a packet here.

Makes the most sense to look at the one from Autostyle!!

Wouldn't waste money on the CF panels - looks silly for me and not really going to benefit you much, unless as said, you turn your car into a full track car with massive weight reductions, where every bit counts so to speak! Personal taste, but CF trim pieces are fine, but major body panels just looks silly and yes, cheap - at least for me it does! :yuck:

So i'm skipping the CF parts, saves me cash as well

I'm how ever in a crisis on the bumper. My 318is has the same bumper as an m3, so its hard to find OEM ones at a cheap price.

Should I get an after market one? I saw one at a shop in midrand for R1500. All plastic and other then the grill and tow bar cover, it was one piece. Looks exactly the same as an OEM. I'm sure I can get it cheaper then R1500

But to go OEM or original...

(money saved here can come in handy, else where on the car)

I have the autostyle one on my car. In my opinion it is better than OEM as the lower lip is MUCH stronger so there is no crunching it off on a pavement. Fitment is OEM perfect.
I also made an underpanel that fits into the autostyle bumper, its cut to the inner shape of the bumper and looks like a T which extends back to the subframe and bolted on.

Space Im going to go look at that bumper this afternoon (the original) but I would highly suggest that you look at the motorsport bumper.

I just cant imagine spending that amount of cash on a bumper, but wait for me to take a looksie first and I'll give you a ring.

Rest of the stuff is already on order

Started reassembly yesterday...

Alignment was more out then what I saw, one can never tell with the eye.

Had to cut the top off the inner tray to straighten the inner fender

I'll take pics tomorrow and post them

When I pick up my wheels (I'm hoping)

Think Leo should stick to the panel beating and away from the picture taking.

So I wanted to go the smoked indicator and fog lights route...

Its costly from autostyle:

indicator (as indicated):

http://www.autostyle.co.za/vehicle-...able-for-e36-smoke-front-indicator-4door.html

fog light (as fogged?):

http://www.autostyle.co.za/vehicle-...ed-crystal-foglights-suitable-to-fit-s36.html

and fog lights that have projectors (can some one explain these to me?)

http://www.autostyle.co.za/vehicle-...98/non-original-s36-projector-smoke-fogs.html

Any one know where I can source these at a better price?

My car is in need of these urgently...

Help

I recon fogs with the projector on is going to make it look cheap.

Progress has been really slow as I am only allowing one guy to work on the panel beating side, but this is now all done.

Car came into the paint shop yesterday, and here are the results so far

Smaller parts have all been prepped and are first in line to be painted tomorrow, so the whole job should come together tomorrow. Then flat and polish

Kyle, I managed to source a good quality headlight so no stress off of that, just need to pick up a bonnet locking mechanism.

So just the clears and fogs and corners left to source, I honestly cannot believe the smoked ones are so expensive, the clear's are so cheaps
