More power from E90 320D

Hi,

what can be done to get more power from a E90 320D?. I have had the chip done but want and need more power.

Has anyone installed a downpipe from the turbo to the 1st box? Preferably using 63mm, I heard this mod also gives some good power, i mite be doing this soon.

Dax, there is also a performance upgrade package from BMW, which i think has a larger intercooler and fan, but i think you need a '07 model and up, you can check the bmw website for this, but be warned i think its costly. Power goes from 130kw - 145kw, 350nm - 380nm.

DPF is the Diesel Particular Filter
If removed its similar to removing the CATalytic Converter at a petrol engine.

Less back preasure means more power and better flow of exaust gases.
Your ECU software needs to be "adjusted" as measuring points include differential preasure detection at the DPF which needs to be deactivated.

DUDE, pm Jenich, he knows very well of a much safer, wuicker and hassle freew way of adding power to the 320d, and also quite safe.:thumbs:

wow havent you done a bit more research on getting more powa

dogs n cats n shit. :biglol:

more power also = overstrained gearbox, diff, driveshafts, better cooling. the list goes on

Hey Promotec, so how am i gona adjust the ECU exactly? after removing the DPF. Have you done this before? I certainly cant take it to the agents and say re-adjust my ECU cause i misplaced my DPF :roflol:
