I'm really pissed that I had to miss this one. But with the next one I hope I can make it. If the circumstance I find my self in improves.

Sorry I had to leave at the Oasis gents, my vrou was in a jam last night, had to take her to the hospital. I just came back from there now. Dr said she'll be discharged later in the afternoon.

THAT WAS AN AWESOME RUN!

Was nice to see the Shinobi riding with the M's :)

Thank you guys

Hi bru, hope ur wifey's better!

Hi guys, thanks to HerrBMW for the initiative. The turnout was awesome and I had great fun and some chats with the fellow fanatics! The run was safe and the guys surely showed us some driving skills on the road. Pity about the saps guys though...:thumbdo: At least my oiler could run with some of the cars out there last night. Am looking forward to the next one!

Thanks man, she's home now, resting.

Hey ppl, that run was frikkin' awesome, was good meeting up with some of the members of the forum for the first time, awesome company and fanastic riding with and trying to keep up with you guys:praise:. Maybe a day run on some quiet road next, but seeing all this machinery coming through at once is sight to be seen, it is spectacular.

Good to chat to everyone, can't remember everyone to list names, but yeah, I most definitely will be there for the next one!

Big up to Coisman for sorting out the cops.

BTW, who is uploading photos, saw a few photos being taken, can't wait to see them uploaded on the Forum!

The planned implementation of e-tolling in Gauteng next month has been postponed to address public concerns, the board of the SA National Roads Agency (Sanral) said on Friday.

Tembakazi Mnyaka, chairwoman of the board, said in a statement that the board would address issues raised by the public and petitions sent to Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele.

The Sanral board met Ndebele in Pretoria on Thursday to discuss the road agency's mandate, Gauteng's E-Tolls and future road programmes.

"The board is committed to meeting all its obligations to stakeholders, and is exploring different [channels]," said Mnyaka.

Before e-tolling commences, Sanral would present its findings to the minister who would present a report to Cabinet.

The controversial system was due to be have been implemented in February but there was widespread criticism that it would place an unfair burden on Gauteng road users.

A civil disobedience campaign, led by the trade union federation Cosatu and the Democratic Alliance called on road users not to pay the toll fees.

The DA's transport spokesman in the Gauteng legislature, Neil Campbell, told the Sowetan newspaper: "If we all stand together resolutely refusing to be part of this unjust toll system, it will fail because Sanral, [as the toll collection company] and the justice system cannot cope with a boycott by 95% of highway users."

Someone said it was the most fun they had with their pants on... I tend to agree here. I've been to skidpan days, drags but this trumps anything and everything I've done in a car before. Big up to fordkoppie and legacy with their M5 and M3 runs. I wish I could've stayed longer after the engen. @ Crash, I didn't even get to see your ride man :bangdesk: or see it in action! We must so do this again soon guys. Set a date for march sometime?

Lastly to all the 135i owners... I'm quite blown away, literally. Those machines move. Having that said I'm quite impressed with the green E30 and it's performance :joy:

Guys I'm adding a video. Not too sure about sensitivity though... I also have a 5minute one the GF took, but lots of cars and "Forum names" are used... Are we ok with this? Cois?

Just 2 comments I have to make on the vids. Firstly the rattling noise. It's only the machined aluminium knob on the gear stick that rattles like a rattle snake when the motor runs up into the rev range. Will fix that.

And just ignore our comments. On the other vids I get a bit carried away with excitement and can't contain it verbally. You've been warned

:pimp:
Andy, dont you remember...??? We were all driving 60km/h, and you just sped up to 120km/h, thats why in the video it looks like you were going so fast, when in fact you were still driving the speed limit... REMEMBER!!!???

Concerning the use of the guys names, I dont mind my name being used in any video, as long as its not a video of my ex girlfriend screaming my name in a moment of passion... :mmm:

I know there were ALLOT more photos taken, and also ALLOT more videos. :thumb: A certain blue M5 with a crazy mad hanging out the sunroof comes to mind...
