Meet up for those spending the holidays in GP

I'm probably only getting back the evening of the 18th But I think a breakfast run / park off will yield better results.

I'm up for the Midnight Run on the 16/17th, will confirm later, have some plans around those dates.

I would like to suggest meeting at McD's on Fourways (near Foursways Mall/Crossing), head up William Nicol , hop onto the freeway then we could stop at McDs at the Oasis on Beyers. Or we could start at the McDs at the Oasis and head down.

To be honest I have been waiting for an event like this. :rollsmile::rollsmile::rollsmile:

O wait, I was thinking, how bout we meet up at the Shell Garage on the corner of Church Street and transoranje, then hop onto the N4 (Quagga Toll and run towards Harties.

If I remember correctly the Quagga Toll is R3 and the other Toll is about R4. So that should be R14 in both directions. Lekker road. Used it a few times to go to Harties. Quite nice. Not alot of traffic.



any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Yip the last i checked the 1st toll (Quagga Toll) is R3 and the other (Pelindaba Toll) is R4 and what a lovely stretch it is!!!! .....when are you'll doing this...im in!!!

Maybe N14 towards Lanseria Airport.

I would suggest we do not drive that piece of road. As nice as it is there are no lights so its pitch black during the night and there are some informal settlements next to the road so on a Saturday night the chances are pretty good that people are running over the highway and the chances are even more likely that they will be drunk. I don't want to hit anyone let alone at 250+km/h.

I like the Western Bypass, very nice highway with allot of lights and almost no cars on there after midnight and there are no fixed cameras so the guys who want to speed can go ahead.

+1000 a no for the N4 I don't feel that its safe
