m50b30 hybrid question

Iv just recently built one and boosted the crap out of it, no issues. Can only use M54b30 crank and pistons, rods b28 or b30 either is fine.

LOL guys i usually never post much, just a quick post and out, build thread:skit:. Quick run down :

M50b25 steel NV block
M54b30 oem crank/rods/pistons
new oem mahle rings
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
ARP main studs
re used old OEM 200 000km bearings :rollsmile: still looked mint!
O ring block, copper rings
oem gasket, stock comp
M50b25 NV stock head
M50b25 stock intake/tb

Savspeed exh manifold
Turbonetics wastegate
No dumpvalve used (hate that noise)
Garret gtx 35 turbo
Haltech ps2000 ecu

Sent the car to RBTS tuning to wire/start/dyno. Ross set the car on 0.8bar and dyno 4th gear 250wkw & 429nm. Upped boost to 1bar on 100% ethanol made 303wkw & 509nm. Limited power there as more is useless on the road and stock block. It spooled ridiculous just like we were hoping for as its a high comp turbo build. I have dyno sheets if someone wants to view. Car is super reliable i beat on it everyday, dint worry running in mileage etc. Its lota fun esp in z3 m chassis. Ok now thanks for the thread jack :sorry: and back on topic, you will not go wrong and dont over think the idea, slap complete M54b30 rotating assembly and enjoy it, will not break.
