I give you the newest addition to the fleet.
Tired of the endless damage to the M3 and my wallet due to the roads. Took it out the weekend to a friends kids bday and whallop timber in the road, exhaust much louder and its causing a vibration somewhere, dunno what this will cost.
So now the higher, softer, slower, more economical and much cheaper 320i.
look yey economical running
Interior was/is really filthy.
Before
After 10min with some warm soapy water with a slight buff from meguiars leather conditioner. Will give it one more clean in a week and then leave it, i suspect any more rubbing might start to remove the sealant/stain.
I would post a pic of the pristine white towel i used but i might get banned for posting such a disgusting thing.
Car was under mplan up to 125 000km.
List of invoices that came with it.
New tyres = 22/10/2007 (still on the rear), 2012/03/10 (still on the front)
Services at 136930km(2008), 149416km (2011), 166556km (2014 as in last week).
Wheel alignments yearly.
Invoices for Brakes,Vbelts, Window regulators & lifters, wipers, anti rollbar bushes and a few other randoms. So the history is well documented.
Issues with it.
Little rust spot on the A pillar, bit of a knock from the rear when changing gear, overly stiff (to my weak ass fly by wire foot) throttle cable, and a engine that is to my mind to quite, this rivals a lexus is200 for silence, and a sagging roof liner. Oil pressure warning was also triggering after startup and going away couple of secs later. Had a look at the dipstick and it seemed full, added a quart of Magnatec Prof 5-30 for in case and it seems silent now. Will monitor the situation on that front.
On a more slightly pissed off matter, car was at a big renowned bmw dealer in PTA last week for its service, and what did i spot/get told at the roadworthy today... Oil leak and thum da da da, red silicone at the sump plug.
And now Peter if you would please remove that needle from the voodoo doll you made of me for driving the M3 on gravel roads, i herniated a disk on the lower back. Promise the M3 will never ever ever leave tarmac again.
