Small update...

We nearly done.

Roof was in and secure then we refitted the windscreen and replaced the rear and rear side windows with aircraft lexan.

Front Splitter we made and fitted, Extends all the way back to the gearbox,
You can hang off it- so definitely is functional.
Will take pics once its on and we remove the protective film.
We chose I-Bond its a aluminium and polyethlyene composite thats light and rigid!

I can't believe the pace at which you're getting this done! One question: did you drape-form the rear lexan windscreen, or just pull it into profile using the fasteners? I haven't done my rear screen yet until I'm happy I can get it done cleanly...

The windows were vacuum formed using the original glass and are a direct fit.

We managed to source a M4 Sump, oil pump and pickup for next to nothing.
This will go in next week and will solve the oil surge the std N55 is known for.

We fitted the M4 sump and the oil pickup... had a few spacing issues for the return pipes for the turbos, but we sorted that pretty quickly.

a Few late nights later... and

So it was on track... and its fast but there are issues.
Temps sky rocket when the water/meth runs out
the water/meth tank is 4 litres and lasts 5 laps
suspension needs lots of setup time
brakes are iffy- we can not bleed them properly. We used ista and by hand and there is still a soft pedal.

But it ran a 11 at Zwartkops on its first outing so we not far off.
When we get the big brakes and the LSD times will drop massively.

Car is at the branding place for the next few days... the livery looks amazing

Epic car!

Is it feasible to run meth in a race?

What is a typical race distance?

Short circuits like Zwartkops 10laps. So about 25km
Long Circuits like Kyalami, Red Star & Phakisa. So about 32km

Very nice build.
Why dont you try running on a petrol ethanol mix maybe 30%. That will help with engine cooling.

They might have fuel restrictions, keeping everyone on a close playing field
