Anyway so was taking a early morning Sunday drive on some popular biker routes in Jhb and saw a Porsche GT3 RS and GT3. Wanted to see how the M2C will perform against them, did'nt really think it would really give them a hard time, but a driver and also tyres has alot to do with it.
Anybody can drive fast in a straight line, what really separates drivers when it comes to the braking zones, and entry and exit of a curve, bend etc..
As you can see a properly driven car, with good tyres (Michelin Sport Cup 2's) can surprise some much faster cars, even some Porsche drivers, and a GT3 RS and GT3 at that, look at the whatsapp messages, lol..., the yellow highlights was his responses to me.
After a jaunt of about 20 min, I pulled off to the side of the road, and the Porsche drivers also pulled off to have a chat with me. They were really impressed with the performance and road-holding of the M2C, I told them the only real performance mods on the M2C were the tyres and coil-overs, other than that stock, they could not believe it, they thought it was tuned. It was a guy and his cousin, they each had a passenger in the car with them, I was alone. They were also testing out their cars in the early morning, they were good guys and we arranged to meet up again. Not sure if they know their cars that well as a GT3 RS should be a weapon of note. I sometimes think the real enthusiasts, never really get to drive or afford these super cars, and they just get babied and never really "driven"
