Attended the "Go Rally" over the weekend.
There was another Z4m as well as a Z3m as well that attended.

Was good fun.

So decided I don't like the way the Csl's look on the car
I somehow prefer the fat tyre profile of the standard wheel
Putting them back in again later this week
A friend with his e46 m3 bought them from me and suits his car perfectly
Swapped with his wheels for now until I can get my wheels fitted

Haha, and I wanted to comment now how great those CSL's look on your car since there are not a lot of wheels that look better than stock on the Z4M.

To each his own, though - you car, your choice! :coolShake:

Looks like you had some fun in the twisties as well

Thanks CinZano
That rear spoiler does look good on a white car.
Not sure it's going to suit the red though

My steering wheel was looking and feeling a bit tired as well as the gearknob and it's been irritating me.

Being the roadster, I think the exposure to the sun caused it to deteriorate.

Decided to have them both recovered last week

I think it came out great, certainly feels allot better, feels chunkier, firmer and most importantly new:)

If you don't mind, what did this work run you? Wouldn't mind looking into something similar.

Total cost was around R3300 but this was for the following:

Recover Steering wheel - R1500
Recover Gear knob - R450
Respray steering wheel plastic bits - R520
Blow in driver bolster - R150
Replace passenger seat insert - R700

(piece of the insert was busy tearing and did not like how it looked, so got him to replace it as well)

Workmanship was quite good and took about 2 days

Friend of mine taking his e46 M3 for the seats to be done up a bit now as well.

Worth it in my opinion and mentally feels like a new car now

Wanna get the interior treated with cream now to make it plush

Also considering a nice detail on the paintwork to keep it tops

Wheel looks great. Can I be first in line if you ever decide to sell?

I was actually considering selling it but what do I replace it with then?
These things prices seem to be going up as well so if I get a lekker offer I might let it go

Someone else already asked for first dibs a while ago though :biglol:

Those prices are alright - how's the metal on your centre console? My aluminium is quite worn and has some pocks, you have a similar issue?

Cheers

No, I don't
The plastic base around the gearknob maybe a few small imperfections, but other than that, my interior is in great shape
