M/Plan Renewal - Stealers Suck!

Please tell me about the warranty and maintenance plan after your motor plan expired. What do both cover ? How much are you paying to have both warranty and maintenance, if you don't mind me asking ?

I don't have the booklets with me, but the information is quite a lot. I reckon if you bought your car from a unitrans affiliated outlet you could look at the options from them.

The best advice I can give you is to rather phone the various places for quotes, places I can think of off hand:
The company financing your vehicle
Motorite
SA Warranties
Hollard

They have various conditions attached but in general the coverage is similar. If I remember correctly we are paying around R500 for maintenance plan with SA warranties, and around R200p/m to ABSA for warranty on the vehicle.

Is there not a total figure or is it just monthly payments (or can you choose). Sorry, I think I have some research to do. I'll find out from some of these outlets.

i agree, if u look after ur bm, it will give good mileage - had a 5 series e39 - mileage 350,000 and was running strong - but got tired of it and needed upgrade
