on grass its hard to say coz i drift my brothers non L/s 325i on dirt and grass.. can you get the same effect on tar?
try on a dry road and check if you have a small or big turning circle..
I think only the E46 M3 had the L.S unit but used the type 210 diff not std E46.. i dont think that any other E46 came out with an L/S unit thats why the E46 Quaffe diff is R10 000 more than the other bmw range!

With the 19" its abit more dif to spin on tar but with 17" this thing swings like an IS.....Pitty i dont have a vid with the 17z as that was a while back.....But i know for a fact that both wheels spin cos if i do a standstill you can see the tire marks from both wheels....
