I am not going to argue with an idiot, you will beat me with experience.:bin:

Cool bud. As long as you're the mature one who's not getting personal, and presenting tour arguments in a reasonable fashion. ;)

Guys if 325ismk2's opinion is that the E90 is the worst BMW ever, then so be it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you disagree with it!!!

The thread is being derailed and the OPs initial thread is being lost.

If personal slings at each other is going to continue we are going to be forced to intervene, which is unnecessary as this can easily be avoided by keeping discussions civil.

E90 is probably the worst 3 series ever. If you must, get the M3, but do budget some money to do the bearings.

How so? My 320d is an '06 and no major problems out of the ordinary to date

Didn't say unreliable, I said the worst. Build quality, too heavy, lackluster drive, terrible interior... I tried two different variants, 330i and 335i, and both were disappointing.

Maby im missing something here, you say it is the worst, bad build quality, heavy, lackluster drive, terrible interior....But yet the E90 was the best selling car in its class when released, drilling the C Class and shitting over the A4......I understand and respect own opinion and all that but am missing something here ??

If you take sales as a measure, then Toyota Corolla is the best car in the world ever. I didn't say E90 is the worst car in it's segment, just that it was the worst 3 series, in my opinion, based on owning every 3 series model from the E30 to date.

I honestly don't know why people get worked up over the opinions expressed by others. You can't expect 7 billion people in the world to all like exactly what you like...

Can you imagine if we had this debate about shoes :shakehead:

The best thing to do when trying to decide on something, is not post it on a forum.

Get a E90, but make it a 330d. It's the best (my opinion) E90 there is.

Stay away from the smaller engined ones.

I dont think that is true Nick, post your options and see what people say. You will always get that one person who does things different then the rest. You get other peoples experience and opinions (and it is only the relevant individual's opinion) on what you post and with that info and what you already have decided you will make a good choice.

Remember that it is for what people experienced and not for what they saying, if that makes sense. Plus we get wiser

The key to dealing with people on a forum is dependant on your reactions to what those people say :thumb:

Personally I hate the E90 as well. But calling it the worst 3 series ever...

Maybe some engines in that class, yea, but all the E90 models???

...in my oppinion the worst BMW is that new front wheel drive 2 series thing!!!! :skit:

Ya, they shoudnt have made it to start off with. BMW is and was always a rear wheel car which is a lot of fun in the wet or in my case when that stupid steering wheel sensor say "sorry all the nanny's has been switched off" :biglol:

But honestly I prefer the E46 as it was the last drivers car where there wasnt that much tech involved to monitor every move the driver makes. You need a laptop instead of a spare wheel to work on this car. Oh and taking me back, there is no spare wheel, no wheel spanner, runflats that makes you wish you had a therapist at home as you feel every crappy work the government did on the road, wish so I didnt give my brother the E46
