do you have a build thread for it? i would like to have a look :)

Sadly not.

Took the car to Steve Hurley and he fitted it for me. Apart from the uprated brakes and a remap, the car was stock.

Was a hoot to drive though, did 1:16's at Z with semis.

:fencelook:What are semis?

Hi guys,
I am considering installing Koni FSD in my 318i e46 as in my area (Maputo) the roads are not so comfortable. I saw them at SV-concepts.com costinf USD 700. What do you think of these shocks and this price.
Also considering these for my Focus ST. Cost for me will be R4850 excluding fitment. Stock shocks are more or less the same price if not a few hundred rands cheaper.

Koni FSD for R4850? something is not right there...
You are correct :fencelook:
STR.T KONI dampers R 4850.00.

I don´t understand, are you saying moranor is correct, or you are saying the real price is R4850?

STR.T are Konis entry level shock they a good upgrade from stock and have a brilliant price :) they do not use FSD tech but are a very good shock using conventional tech...

They are perfect for track days.

Apart from offering better and more consistent grip (you get similar lap times over at least 50 laps), they last much longer on the track than road tyres.

Biggest reason for this is the softer compound, that means no ripping of rubber out of the tyres. On normal road tyres, pieces of rubber will get ripped off, especially if the tyre has a lot of tread left.

Also, a semi's sidewall is much more stiffer than a road tyre, that means you have a bigger contact on the road, and again better tyre wear.

I won't use it as an every day tyre, as it makes a helluva noise, and is terrible in the wet.
