Here is the Killarney calender for 2010.

Please note the first open track day is Sunday, 31 January 2009 from 2 - 6 pm. The Exclusively ///M club will start the morning at 9 am with a breakfast run via Kommetjie (i think) and end up later at 2pm at Killarney. If you plan to race on the track you need to register early, i think entrance fee is R40 or R60. Join us it will be fun. I plan to run in the intermediary group and hopefully will keep Naati-WP out of my slip...:)

You will also noticed a BMW track day is scheduled for 28 February 2010 from 9h00 - 13h00. We are in discussion with Killarney about this event.

i must add that if u belong to the wpmc club u actually pay less for these events.

normal guys pay R250. wpmc members pay R150.
and also u get to come in free on most days if u present yr white book, which is wat u get wen u join the club.

as for the bmw track day. we are in talks with them to hav our very own track day. and we will soon hav an update on that event.

i just wanna ask you guys.....who all here will be interested in partaking (driving on the circuit) for the day.

Its not as hectic as u think, They hav groups of 3. which are split up for novic, intermediate and proffesional.

Plus the nice thing if its a bmw only event. u can hav fun with yr mates on the track.

twins had a nice day and i was invited to teach and show a few guys wat to do and how to do it. On the day everyone enjoyed themselves, i dont see y we cant do it.

there will be a charge per driver to take their cars on the track and passengers pay as well but not as much.

so giv me feedback pls.

we wanna make this big and enjoyable for everyone.

Can a Motorsport come on the Kommetjie run? Or will I have to beg Clownshoe to lend me his roadster??

Twins, if you need anything else from Killarney you can't get let me know.

I don't have the money :excited: but I have the contacts, my dad is chairman for one of Killarney's clubs.

So if you need something just shout.

If I remember correctly there was no ass kicking involved.... he pulled me in 3rd, getting your ass kicked involves not being in front at all, and crying to your mommy afterwards :) We'll see in the corners :) he doesnt have all his suspension fixed yet MUHAHAHA

novice, track is emptier, which is better IMO.

@fuzzy: M-diff saves tires big time. The e36 was a pig at eating tyres on the track, the e46 m3, not so much

With Pofsie's severely limited 103kw ATF, I would prefer to hang around in the pitlane.

Doesn't mean I won't be there though.

for the brakfast run, anyone and everyone is invited, so tell yr mates.

as for the track day.
there is 2 groups
Novice.....
no overtaking, no out braking. u guys must stay in single file.

intermediate.......
overtaking allowed on the straights but not in corners. But out braking is allowed.

proffesional.....
anything goes. u drive it like u stole it lol.

My opinion go for the intermediate. its much more fun if u can overtake then do it.
