for the brakfast run, anyone and everyone is invited, so tell yr mates.

as for the track day.
there is 2 groups
Novice.....
no overtaking, no out braking. u guys must stay in single file.
U drive it like you owe money on it.

intermediate.......
overtaking allowed on the straights but not in corners. But out braking is allowed.

proffesional.....
anything goes. u drive it like u stole it lol.

My opinion go for the intermediate. its much more fun if u can overtake then do it.

Fixed

novice, track is emptier, which is better IMO.

@fuzzy: M-diff saves tires big time. The e36 was a pig at eating tyres on the track, the e46 m3, not so much

Yo bru, when I bought my e36 I put on a set of tyres and have been on ever since (3years now). It took me a couple of runs on the track and hulle was warm almost melting!!!

I will have to see what the e46 does! e36 however a much smoother drive!

I'll be there for both.

January's date I won't be able to get on track as I'm working till 14:30 so I won't be able to attend the meeting and inspection before the cars go on track (as I understand it):(

The last weekend in Feb I'm not working so will easily be able to attend and get on the track.

My tractor waits with baited exhaust fumes :)

Will see you all at both the track day and breakfast run. I do the Intermediate class.

I think we should get BMW involved with our track day on 28 Feb.
Also.... I saw in a previous issue of Speed and Sound mag, that BMW Club SA had another track day at Kyalami. They always got BMW to sponsor their event/s, we must get them to sponsor ours

Who's got the contacts to pull that off? also it will be nice not to loose a motorplan while we are having fun.

I got the contacts. They sponsor the event every time for the club in JHB to have a track day. ....

You wont loose Motorplan for track days.

The only thing that will cancel the motorplan is drags, racing, donuts and burnouts. Racing = (proper racing) as if you in like "Touring Car racing"
