Granted and most definitely, their program is more entertainment focused than actual car reviewing, and a lot of the time their biased opinions overlook the true merit and strengths of the cars they test. "So in conclusion we hate this car, and on that bombshell..."
And another thing to remember, they usually favour petrol head pleasure and perfection rather than practically or affordability, hence why they almost always refer to diesel cars as using the fuel of satan, or something along those lines. So one has to take what they say with a pinch of salt, but sometimes I reckon what they say, in between all the nonsense, does make sense. And often this is as relevant as what a person sees a car as being - so while maybe the Z8 has terrible handling and seems almost uncontrollable on a track when being pushed, as a car for the average normal sensible person it is most likely a suburb and solid car.
For instance, I am not a Ferrari fan because I reckon it won't take much driving on our typical roads to stuff one up easily - whereas a typical Porsche is a whole other animal, so much more practical and usable, and in most cases a lot more affordable to own and use. Who cares if their 911 design has not really changed much throughout the years in terms of styling, these cars are able to put their power down extremely well!
