No your wrong. I'm in IT, so I don't know anything but neither do you or anybody else in this FORUM! See that car was purpose bought to be tuned. I have mentioned another R100k going onto this build, Get that!? I'll push 200k if I want to just because I CAN. The car is a street racing car, the car is a street racing car, the car is a street racing car...build for street racing....will you get that into the brain waves now huh? Problem is when you start pushing the power the car is doing now with the little mods it has I guess I will start scaring a few guys. My car is heading in the direction of jp's. 135i here and in the states has the same turbo' I assume. I know guys that have been running stock turbo's 17-20psi 2yrs plus with no problems. But the Sa turbo's are shot according to some they don't last a week if you run 17psi according to our forum experts. Point being if you can't afford to tune a 135i don't. I can!

I remember giving this 135 a hiding of note previously. You knew very little about modding and racing that night in your race car and obviously not not much has changed.

Tell you what, spend another 100k or 200k more on your car, when its ready, lemme know and Ill be happy to race you again.

Then you can go spend even more on mods because you CAN.

Well done you gave a bone stock 135i with tyres you knew where shot a hiding with a new tuned 125i well done whohooooo your the man..bragging rights right there....:thumbs::idea: Give this man a trophy he obviously deserves it.

To the OP, its your car and your money..

The same thing happened to me when I Had my golf, I thought google was my friend and did not want to take good advice from people. That lesson cost me 40k. Take the good advice in this thread. It will save you lots of bucks.

Deep breaths Nic. You can choose to ignore and keep us posted on the build which is why I read this thread. I don't care how knowledgeable you are or how green you are when it comes to tuning. I don't care if you are a good guy or a complete ___. I am here to read about this amazing build. I have a 135i and you are offering a good learning experience for some of us. Many of us ask what happens in the real world if you do this or that. You are going to answer many of these questions. You are not afraid if things break. Yes you are somewhat volatile, and some members know what buttons to press to get you going. Block it out. Report the off topic posts to a mod to clean up - not the mods giving you a hard time.

I think this thread is great and I wish others would take this thread for what it is. To all those who keep having a dig at Nic. It takes all kinds to make the world go around. Without some of these colourful characters the world wouldn't be such an interesting place.

Im not derailing, im urging him on his build. Motivating him to build on.

I mean, not like this hasnt been done before, n54's have been built before, really quick ones, yours being about the quickest I've seen. just that now there is money to burn on this build.

I have experienced what this car is capable of, waiting in anticipation to see what it will be once complete.

The OP stated, no-one on this forum knows what they talking about and that will include you GS. He cant learn from anyone else here.

Its going to be monster of note.
