Please could someone assist me.....

Whne jb4 is in my car, the car goes back to stock while driving as its cutting something off.. Im on map5 up at the reef, version is up to date as well.

When i read the codes I can see a fuel pressure code being triggered.

So i took jb4 out and dealership says theres nothing wrong with fuel pump. (obviously i did not tell them I can see the log) but i did tell them car feels under powered and maybe fuel pump needs to be replaced.

Now ive but jb4 back and still the jb4 cuts out every now and then(goes bak to stock)

Any ideas or suggestions?

If its a 29f2 code than do the following :

Under user settings set FUA to 2, this will disable auto loop tuning,
than under open loop set it to 75 and test, keep on dropping the value by increments of 5 until the code disappears.:thumbs:

Good idea.

But skiet is running an off the shelf JB4 which is within the safe and conservative boost parameters and should not trigger such a fault code. :thumbs:

Unless, Skiet has been doing other mods :=):

just a question...the n55 jb4 stage 2,there is no g5 board available or does it come with the g5 board preinstalled as its the latest jb4?also if yes,than when uploading firmware does one use the g5 firmware?

On cold start up wagon revs up cold start increases revs a little turbos whine and then makes like a droaning sound, awesome G5 noises makes me smile every time! Anyone else startup routine your X35i does?

I am been asked this question often, so let me give a little bit of an explanation. And since the answer is not on that other forum...:=):

Currently the N55 Jb4 board (is) a G5 advance board albeit different in looks to the N54 G5 board. But there is no G5 firmware out for the N55 Jb4 board. We just have to wait. So N55 owners dont go cutting anything or uploading N54 G5 firmware it aint gonna work.

But the main thing is this. The G5 iso (isolated boost control) is absolutely incredible and takes the Jb4 to a whole new level. And combined with the bms flash is serious business. But N54 owners if your car is not FBO and meth, dont rush into this because you will only really enjoy these benefits if you have the supportive mods. And since the G5 iso goes through revisions on a daily basis its worth waiting until the tuning has stabilised and been completed. However, all new Jb4 tunes for the N54 ships with the G5 board. But there is still no decision if it will ship in (iso) mode...but its an easy modification to do. :thumbs:
