Hmmm...i see someone has not been reading our support thread...:=):

Firstly, this is a "special" flash. Its not boost flash/mapping.The flash seperates the fueling parameters from the piggyback and a whole host of other things. To put it plainly, this allows me to run more advance timing...using 100% ethanol or a complex blends of fuels without the "issues" such as hard starts when cold etc...etc...But the flash also speed delimits, cps, DP fix and some other things.

This allows the JB to focus on boost targeting (which it does best) & provide all the other grand features ...

The special flash is really only for high boost vehicles with nitrous and bigger turbos OR those that want to run a higher content of ethanol between 60 -75%...on their FBO cars.

Ok I'm going meth in the next week or so, is this then advisable:) ?

The G5 has a built in speed delimiter...no need for a flash in your case. Speak to Revo about upgrading to the G5 board. There is a long waiting list but I am sure Revo can arrange.

Meth definitely makes big power....BUT the flamability issue is putting users off. Ethanol does not have that problem. Why dont you start with ethanol testing first and then we can assess the logs. But if you okay with methanol then you can run higher boost too...For you to decide.

100 with M button is way to sensitive on track, will play around tomorrow testing throttle response vs corner speed. Nice to be able to adjust on the fly:ty:

Thx Shaun.
Richard as explained by Edz you can switch the lag settings via the steeringwheel controls. So you can play around with the settings during normal driving. You can also increase the exhaust volume with a lower lag setting...cool.

Lagfix on 20 no M button should be great for track as you do not have that excessive sensitive throttle tip and yet also dryers spool up so quickly it should work great!

twinz : i think the problem could be solved, 29f2 = FUA/2 & open loop at 70. No more 29f2

Will send you some logs, now we can play with menue 9, 19psi is the target.

Agree M button at 100, you definately need more road. Car eats it up so fast and now with new firmware even better.

Please could someone assist me.....

Whne jb4 is in my car, the car goes back to stock while driving as its cutting something off.. Im on map5 up at the reef, version is up to date as well.

When i read the codes I can see a fuel pressure code being triggered.

So i took jb4 out and dealership says theres nothing wrong with fuel pump. (obviously i did not tell them I can see the log) but i did tell them car feels under powered and maybe fuel pump needs to be replaced.

Now ive but jb4 back and still the jb4 cuts out every now and then(goes bak to stock)

Any ideas or suggestions?

Do the following:
1. Put the JB on map 4 and let me know what happenes.
2. When you have time, please do a log on map 4.

It's the default map it cuts to if there are issues, are you by any chance running anything but pump fuel?
