Is this a good deal? F30

Hi guys, Im looking to sell my F20 and get something else.. great car, but I wish i opted for the M sport model, its bugging me that I didnt.

Anyway, I saw this add:

Seems like a really good price for that car, AND its still in MP. That's about the max my budget can go at the moment. What are the opinions on this car?
My other option may be a 2012 125i M sport f20.

It's a decent price, good extras. Just remember the plan will end next year sometime as the 5 years will be reached before the 100k km. You will be able to extend it. Very good looking car.

Yeah, I'm more glad that it has MP for at least a few months because I can be more or less sure that I didn't buy something with problems.

Yes for sure, gives you a bit of time to find any niggles etc. I'm busy with that on mine, making a list for them to fix during the final service under plan. I'm hoping they will replace my shocks as they are slowly starting to show some wear. The F30 is a great car, a friend and I bought one at the same time and we're both loving them! Good luck with your choice!

Just have a look at start up, if it pops smoke out the zorst, then you know the turbo needs to be replaced.
The F30 petrol motors do have a problem,especially around the 70k km mark.
But if its under plan still,then you will be fine. :chef:

Forgive my newbie-ness, but whats the usual procedure to buying a car thats in a different town? Flying up to check it out, and driving it home if desired? Or town delivery. If its in motorplan still, Id be tempted just to buy and have it delivered.. but I suppose its always best to see in person first.

Just checked now, and it does have a comment... The one door and fender had to be replaced due to a gate closing on it. So maybe not then... Although all repairs were done professionally through a BMW authorised repair place.

Haha, I was literally just on this site. Saw this as well and now Im not convinced. Those other 2 guys above seem to vouch for them though. interesting.

Im trying to stick to people that BMW trust. Looking at cars from SMG now, who are apparently quite good (according to BMW)

Although the mileage is a bit high, and cost is a bit higher than I intend... but it depends what I can sell/trade in my F20 for.

Yeah thats pretty much ideal. Wouldn't mind a higher mileage to reduce price though, 290k is a bit much for me right now. More along the lines of 260k. 250 would be ideal.
Difficult to find what I want on this budget, I know. And the stupid thing is that 250k will more than likely get me something that's almost out of motor plan, costing me more in the long run anyway.. that being said, my current car is about 6 months away from ending it's motor plan as well anyway.

Which seemed almost too good to be true.. that price for a 2013 model.. got in contact with the dealership, no comments and a full service history with BMW, never been in an accident.
Seems like this is the one! It's pretty much out of motor plan though, and quite expensive to extend it. The lady mentioned extending the warranty though, which would be cheaper. I won't lie, I'm not entirely sure what the difference is. Other than perhaps paying for my own services.

That 320i is very clean looking. Bit high milage for my liking

Nah I didn't. I was very close to, but my trade in value on my current car was way lower than expected, and some other funds coming my way are taking longer than expected.. so the maths just doesn't work out in my favour right now. I'll have to stick to my 118i for the time being, and one day get something better.

For what its worth, my dad wants to sell his F30, 2013, 320d M Sport auto, 70 400km, motorplan till 2018 or 100 000km, no comments on motorplan, he wants R325 000. You will probably find a cheaper one on the net, but my old toppie are quite hard headed when it comes to money haha. Car is really immaculate. He will trade in something cheaper, as he wants to get a cheaper car and a older SUV for the money he gets for the F30. Let me know if interested. The car is currently at my dealership in Gansbaai.
