Essentially what you do is you click on the area that was damaged, and all surrounding parts are automatically included.
The assessors are too frikken lazy to look at the vehicles, and thats where quotes like this come from.
I did a quote the other day for a customer.
We are spraying 5 panels on the car, but the insurance company will not allow for a polish and glaze.
One of the covers on the mirror popped out, meaning that it just has to be removed and refitted, but they allow almost 5k for a replacement of the mirror, I quoted R375 for remove and refit.
Problem is, that the insurance company hates asking for additionals, hence the million parts being changed.
You quote upfront, insurance removes for check and report, you do not quote for it upfront, and you are not allowed to add additionals.
