That motor must be so smooth and powerful to drive that you were probably not sure if it was a 6 or a 4 cylinder! :rollsmile:

well it would be a valid question for a e46 320i as the earlier models were infact a 2.2 I6 ...

but you have a e90 so hmm fail for the dealer and no excuse for u ... ;) ...

Sadly you are correct.

Still cannot believe someone would not know the difference between a 4 and 6 cyl sound. Especially in a BMW which has one of the best sounding 6 cyl engines.

This kind of reminds me of the new F30 launch, the salesman that we went with in the 328i saying, "yes, this new engine is a 4 cylinder, the old engine was a V6..." :nonono:
