The LCI is awesome... I would advise anyone to get it. I haven't looked at the specs, but the look just does it for me, especially the rear park lights.

Thanks.
Considering some other (cheaper) options too, but I'll probably stay with the F20.
Apart from a few rattles, the one we have now has been faultless.

Hope yours treats you well. :=):
Had a fuel pump issue in my 2nd week. The pump ran dry and burnt out. Car went back for two weeks. Really enjoying it now though. It's just a bit scary on da bends, very unpredictable. I had an E36 M3 with no traction and this scares me.

Forgot to ask yesterday:
Do you know if the issue was related to the fuel pump recall issue?
Improper nickel plating of components within the fuel pump may result in the fuel pump failing.

Surely this would/should have been sorted in the 1 LCI models, so probably unrelated. Either way, why did it take 2 weeks to sort out?!

One of my cars is on the list of possible affected vehicles, but I haven't received a recall notice from BMW and the local dealer didn't pick up anything on the car's VIN a while back. Perhaps I should have them check again.
I think that the recall issue may have been fixed on the LCI. That's why it took 2 weeks to sort out my car. There was no stock of the fuel pump in the country and had to be imported which would lead me to assume that it is a different pump from the pre LCI. I may be wrong though.

My issue was that I was in hospital and my wife forgot to switch off the car (stop/start function threw her off). It also did not warn her cos the car was in park mode, it think it only warns you when you still in drive. Fuel was low in the car and car was idling for approximately 6 hours. Fuel ran low and burnt out the solenoid or something on the pump. Will have to check my receipt to be sure.
