Thanks buddy much appreciated some updates below. Did some interior work as radiator needs to modified again.

So I am in the process of removing the navigation and telephone system. If anyone is interested in buying it let me know

For the center console I wanted to change from the Idrive to a dual cup holder version without phone

Decided into looking into the leaky fuel return line and I bought some fittings to sort out my fuel leak. But the plastic bmw line to hard rubber line was not to be as the AN fitting didn’t work.

So decided to do it properly and pulled out the whole thing

I am going to get some 1 piece setup to avoid this rubbish of cut and joins

Please give us a review, once received and installed

I will do, its a fifth of the price of a proper lsd (excluding the removal of the gear from the diff which needs to be sent to engineering) so its worth a try in my opinion apparently you get 25% lock

This guy did it. Waiting for his review

Part is arriving soon. Can’t wait but I ordered something to compliment it so till I get that I won’t be doing the diff as I want to do this after my car is running to compare

Ok parts have arrived

So this is the cost break down

Main Conversion Kit - 3816.97
Diff Seals - 521.85
Customs - 1821.71

Total 6160.53

Still need to send some parts for engineering

But still way cheaper than a proper unit

I am just waiting on this other dumb ass to send me another part I ordered

Here are some pics.

All my packages have been getting stuck at customs. Bastards. I am buying from EBay seems like it’s a new thing cause nearly every package gets stopped :(

SARS is hunting for cash, and everyone I've spoke to in the industry says customs is a mess with hardly anyone on the ground from customs who actually knows what's happening, I i guess they've defaulted to stop and charge for every package because its, easier.

Every item over R500 has to go to customs for clearance.
Also if you don’t have a importers code, importing more than 3 times a year/ or more that R50k in value is going to get you into trouble.

Yes it’s recently been changed especially the part of the R500 value for customs clearance.

Importing requirement of a importers code has been around for a while now.
Not that you will get into trouble but SARS can impose a fine on the parcel which you would pay(R3k roughly).

Also once you have picked up a problem with them, they will make life difficult and everything Will get stopped/checked/delayed
