PM me for the details of the seller. If an advertiser forum is selling it I won't be able to give you those details unfortunately.

Here is the costs from eBay. Customs cost me R45

So I changed the front tyres on this car and on the way to the tyre place. I would give it a hard rip not intending on Spinning wheels or anything and boom traction just breaks and I am going no where lol. Such an awesome little rocket and the sound is amazing. The 335i brakes have finally bedded in and they feel super super sharp really a good mod to do. As for the M3 steering rack. It's very heavy when you trying to park or get out of a parking as it doesn't have the low speed thingi connected. But it does feel much better once going and it's sharper with more Road feel and less rotations to full lock. I need to sort out the rear now cause the car feels very loose in the rear after the h&r rear springs have been put in

So I did some work this weekend to it

Trying to get it more efficient and clean running.

So decided to install a catch can to collect unwanted oil from the breather system instead of going through the intake. A catch can works better than a breather system as it recirculates the excess pressure instead of having an open air system.

I bought a cheapish catch can as I want to baffle it myself

I added steel wool to trap the oil from moving around

Next I changed to the air intake to a longer one so I can get colder air to it. I put tape to seal it as a temporary measure as I want the holes to be sealed by being welded. For now I used silver duct tape. Since I did this I am feeling a slight difference in power due to the colder air. I plan on building an enclosure to avoid hot air being sucked up.

After. Take note of the catch can ;)

Next was the installation of my eBay short shifter

Took me around 30min to do. The shifts are direct no slack. Feels like a race car. But since my car is modified I cannot go into 2nd gear as it's catching on the guibo. Only when it's running you can feel this as when the car is off it goes into second with no issues. So my options are either to drop the transmission or get a custom guibo

The stock 120i shifter is a long stroke before it goes into gear. I will try upload the vids I took if anyone is interested in the difference but I love my new shifter tap it an it goes right into gear.

I will get a pic of its current height

I also installed an radiator overflow bottle and changed my cap to a 1.3bar version from a 0.9bar

Temporary mounting location

I am now running a dual fan system that is connected to a fan controller. I will have pics of that on my next update.

Hope you guys enjoyed the update

Nice updates.

Just something else to consider: the MSport gearknob is also shorter (about10-15mm) than the regular gear knob (and also slightly heavier I think)

You may want to consider getting one of those as well for those “money shifts”

Myne does look shorter than the standard one. And does feel about the same weight as the ZHP shift knob. I actually bought. The ZHP shift knob but I think I am going to keep the one from the car. It's silver and black

Just got paid my bonus. I am seriously thinking of a 3uz upgrade. Basically it will push my power from 195kw to 225kw and 365nm to 441nm. Hopefully the 120i clutch will hold

A whole new motor for those minimal gains. Won't a decent set of cams or proper headers and exhaust yield similar results?

Lol a gti would probably beat me but on pull off to 100kph I will give him a really hard time

A 3uz would kill him for sure and a turbo 1uz would destroy quite a few cars
