How to access footwell?

Hi guys.

How do i access the interior cabin from the engine bay on an E46 M3?
Where exactly in the engine bay is the grommet situated?
Some picture will help please.

On the US models, its situated on the left of engine bay.
On local model the DSC is situated there so i can't seem to find the grommet

haha. from what i find online, seems the best option for us is to go through the cubby (glove box)

im not even sure the cable that came with mine is long enough to get there :yuck:

im not too bothered i got them for DLRs and thats what they are doing :rollsmile:

You don't access it from the driver side but from the passenger side. The computer box in the corner has a hole on the inside going inside the back of the cubbyhole.
