How do you know if it is a m/s

Hi, my son just bought a 2005 120d manual with a lot of extras as per vin. Stuff like sport steering wheel, electric front seats, rear pdc, shadow line, folding mirrors, headlight cleaning, xenons, rain sensor, sat/nav (for UK), 17 inch style 142 rims, etc. Will it say on the vin printout if it is a m/s or where can one find out as he needs the info for his insurance. Does it normally say m/s on the door sills?

M/S? As in MSport? It'll say that on the options list of the VIN. How's about a pic, this'll confirm straight away.

Not sure about the 1 series but I believe msport was only released 2006/7 on the e90s

Doesn't say on vin printout that it is a msport, but you can tell if it says it has the bodykit.

Easy way is too see if the back bumper has an apron

if it's a solid bumper then def not msport.

Thanks for the info guys. It has the standard bumper so will accept that it is a non m/s.
