So went for a few runs at ODI this weekend, car was pulling ok 237 on the 1 km and 13.1 QM, (well maybe not as strong as I was hoping for though).
Next thing however I get a yellow engine check light :thumbdo:
Anyways turned out I popped my charge pipe coupler off the throttle body, many thanks to M3 Devil loaning me some tools :thumbs: I was able to get everything reattached and could drive home.
So this morning I check the car for codes and keep getting a pressure sensor fault, now I know I attached everything back correctly yesterday, so do a physical inspection and find this?
Don’t understand how this wire broke loose as it’s attached on top of the intake manifold far away from the charge pipe?? Anyways I call BMW parts this morning, reckon 2 weeks to order a plug from Germany. Don’t understand as this plug is common across many BMW’s (part no. 11)?? Anyways now I need to make an interim plan for 2 weeks. The problem is that the wire has actually broken the pin its soldered too? Any suggestions on a quick fix??
Also need to know where to get some decent boost piping and T-clamps as I also stripped one of the large clamps on the CP??
