Honda S2000

I have ordered off menu a bit having bought a S2000.

I love these cars and actually forgot how much fun they are till I drove one again.

Roof down, engine spinning to 9k and the incredible balance of a mid mounted engine. There is nothing like it.

In a world full of turbos and void of response, this stands out as a purists car.

It does have drawbacks, but I'll live with them for the grin that gets pinned to my face when the engine crosses 7000rpm.

I have driven one back in 2006 or 2007, but I wasn't nearly as "in touch" with how cars drove as I am now. I was rather ham-fisted.

But from what I remembered, the Z4m had better steering and way more power everywhere.

It is difficult to say how the chassis compares, but it felt less prone to snap oversteer, it was quite progressive and predictable in its movements.

Definitely a great car.
