so my E46 is going into tunetech tomorrow morning after almost a week with no sheer driving pleasure, fuel pissing out oil leaking and that fxxking eml asc warning light problem all came together to reduce me to walking pace last Saturday and then miraculously "came right" on Sunday morning (except for the leaking fuel and oil)

Long story short I'm really hoping that I can raise enough money during the day tomorrow to cover the repair(need the diagnosis before I'll know)... hold thumbs for me guys:dizzy:

problem is that i like the car and i want it...
the dealer tried to fix it before and at that time it was only the error lights that were the problem...
when they gave it back to me, it seemed fine but the first time i filled up the tank and parked on my driveway(incline) about ten liters of fuel pissed out onto the floor(fuel pump housing cracked) and two days later all the same warning lights were back and i was in limp mode again

so long story short the dealer did not fix the fault that they tried to fix in the first place AND caused a very expensive fuel leak in the process... in other words there's no fxxxking way they are touching my car again because i believe they do not know what they are doing and they are going to cost me more money by breaking everything they touch without fixing anything.

and during that long process I've got no car! this is the reason i asked all you guys on the forum what the best place to take the car is, so now its getting fixed at tune tech and i will try to get the dealer to pay for it but it looks like thats not gonna happen...:beaten:

Fair enough,

But see CPA protects you in this case..

You tell them to take the car back, or you insist on a repair done by the agents, or you demand to see the credentials of the garage performing the repair. Chances are that its being done in some guy's back yard, I non member of the RMI.

If you financed the car, just threaten the guy with reporting him to the bank, and laying a charge of fraud against him, because the car would of had to go through roadworthy before being given to you, and a fuel or even an oil leak is serious enough that it will fail roadworthy.

Just mention contacting the bank, and this guy will do backflips, because if found guilty, and gets kicked by the bank, the bank wont finance his cars anymore, and seeing though are only 5 banks, they are a little sensitive about stuff like this... :)

thanks for the info LZ i will say that to them and see what happens, but they keep telling me "just bring the car back to us and well fix it" they even wanted to send a flat bed to tune tech to get the car back to their crackhouse dealership-but as i said no fxxxking way are they touching my car! so first prize would be them footing the bill that i get from tunetech

wish i could just skiet die bliksems!:gangs:
