Well, from my side I try my best to deliver the service that and stay true to what it is I signed up for, but Abmi, you are most likely correct... Honest cops are indeed Few and far between... :nonono:

It is very sad indeed. At least I can say that I know one (I think) :mmm: :)

I live in Midrand. I'm really sad to hear this. Breaks my heart and makes me scared for my life.
:sorry::sorry:
Crime really is that ugly wart on the beautiful face of our country. We read about it everyday and see it on the news, but when it happens to you or somebody close to you, suddenly it gets so real.

Really sorry bud.

This happened in the Carlswald area and I live in an estate about 1km away from where it happened. My advice is to not stop or slow down for blue light brigades. The cops told me last night that these guys have been jacking people with this exact mo for a while.

I hope this never happens to anyone else. It is sad when you make peace that it could be your last few minutes.

BTW, does anyone know where the Pretoria West police pound is ? Not even the cops can tell me where to go view my car.

This particular gang only seems to hit at night but every other syndicate acts day and night so really...........you might as well go out whenever you want and just be as alert as possible.

If they want your car, they will get it and hiding out when its dark wont stop them.

I guess the advantage for me with driving an E46 320d is that no one wants it. :nonono:

Asking what road or even area it is, is pointless, they won't hit the same road twice unless they really are a bunch of retards. I also asked what area it was on impulse....

I think the cops should be more allert of other "Blue light cars" and should start pulling them over to check there badges and numbers to make sure they are legit officers of the law, that way these fuckers can be narrowed down as fast as possible!

OK...so it was a "blue light hijacking"....

I have decided that if it isn't a true metro police car, with all the necessary markings, ie EMPD/Ekurhuleni MPD splashed all over the vehicle, or if it isn't a stationary metro cops/SAPS roadblock...I WILL NOT STOP....esspecially if it is a plain white/black coloured car with a blue light

Yea I did that on my bike, I had some random golf 5 GTI chase me, at first I thought it was some douche trying to race me, then when I came to a red robot the guy was comming at me at such a speed that I thought he was going to wipe me the fu@#K out, so I ran through the red robot, then this guy started chasing me, I started red lining every gear on my bike going through every red robot, and still he stuck to me like glue, I then turned into honeydew off beyers and stopped and thought if this guy turns into this area then it has to be cops if not then it was some dumb ass trying to hijack me, they turned into that area and only then did they put blue lights on, it didn't end so well. I should have turned right into the honeydew police station and they said that if I had done that it would have been a much better situation.

So my advice, if an unmarked car starts following you and it turns into a chase, get to your nearest police station!!!

If it is an area that you know then obviously you could head for the nearest police station, but in all honesty...........how many of you know where the nearest police station is in every area that you drive through. I dont :flyfun:

If you cant find a po po station head for a busy garage. At least if they are not cops they are less likely to mow you down in a public place. All garages have cctv recordings so if it is cops and they try and assault or jack you, or some kind of baby diaper hits the ceiling fan you have video evidence on your side.

You are also more likely to find a garage close by than a police station. I dont want them following me while I try and find a bloody police station in a dodgy area I dont know. You may just get your self into more problems if you get lost and land up circling the same block three times with some agro trigger happy porkers behind you.

You definately have a point there! Garage is definately the next best bet!

Thing is SAPS isnt taking the issue one the victims(guy who got his porsche taken) claims to know one of the police from a roadblock but no I.D parade was done, issue wasnt taken further no updates nothing so expecting them to stop unmarked cars and check for appointment cars never gone happen.

Just found mine was the second M3 on that road in 2 weeks.

The hijackings in midrand are getting ridiculous. I say stop for nothing, just drive to the nearest police station and block the fuggers from getting past you.
Not that these idiots in their RS4 would have ever caught the M3. Now I hate Audi even more.

My question is if the cops know that these guys are doing this more than once on this road why the hell dont they do something about it, like catch the MF's?????????????? :argh:

instead of saying oh sorry but we know this is happening but obviously doing nothing about it.
