So what really should one do if your being pulled over by some 'police' looking fellows? I would imagine dropping a gear to get out of there will get you into more trouble if they legit. But still better then being hijacked.

Yeah I once had cops pull me over, and they got out of the car R5's ready. Thought the e36 was stolen, but it didnt have any numberplates at the time.

From what they said, 9pm Friday, riding in the direction of the loco, a car with no plates is often stolen.

Take my advice, get possession of the car as SOOOOOOON as possible, even if they need to tow it to your place, or ask to go out and see the car.

Take service books, tools, hell, grab the ashtray light if you can.

If they need and its damaged, you can have it towed here, anything, your insurance company yard is still dodgy but better then popo inpound...
