So today I decided to get some Smoked Lamin-X.

This was my first attempt to try something like this.
In the end...It looks a bit crappy close up. You could see stretch marks/bubbles and some uneven places where I have cut.
Petrol tank money that I have wasted...**sigh** :nonono: :thumbdo:

Here is where I did the first headlight. To compare how dark it actually is. I'm pretty sure this smoked lamin-x will effect the brightness of my lights?

My old man helping me out...to see if he gets it done better...which he did.

I did the back myself where I failed on the left tail light terribly. (I have cut it to short) :flyfun:

I'm actually thinking of pulling it off. Just bothers me that I paid about R180-00 per sheet. :argh:

Looks good rommies.

That is the thing, doing it takes money and time, it looks awesome during the day and so, but lights do tend to lose brightnes.
Had 3 different colours on the front lights. And have a nice black on tail lights but get kaked out often bout people not being able to see my brakelights.

Thanks Bruce.

Ok..I quickly switched headlights on and sat in car to see if this lamin-x makes a difference. if there is...it must be minor. I can't see a difference yet...I'll wait when I get a chance to drive and give some feedback.

My brake lights is clear enough. I shouldn't get old grannies hitting me with a handbag lol...

Take some pics and post it up.

Tail lights usually looks brighter in the dark than in full sunlight.

So this morning....The tail lights looks even worse. So pulled it off.
Only left the headlights lamin-x on haha

Anyone who can help me with rolling my Supra wheel arches? I'm too scared to do it by myself...And I'm pretty sure I will bugger it up. :fencelook:

Rommies, just buy the smoked Golf R rear tail lights from a VW dealer. It will look the part without hampering the effectiveness of the lights.

I must admit though, I like the front lights the way they were before the Lamin-x.

Why don't you buy one of those tools to roll the arches on the Supra?

Smoked Golf R rear tail lights (LED) costs a fortunate at the Dealers. Something ridiculous like R12k for a set. And then it needs some special adaptors. :bangdesk:

That tool looks pretty cool but I'm sure it will come at a price.
