180km/h on the speedo? Mine says 240km/h :fencelook:

I joke, very unique car you have there. There's a certain "bossness" about Supras that I can't put my finger on. Que the opening of new tabs on my web browser to look for Supras on Japanese/UK websites.

lol ... yeah unfortunately the JAP law only permits a maximum for 180 km/h.
There is TRD Speedo & Rev counters I can put it...it goes till 320km/h and 12k rpm but they are insanely expensive.

Next mods to come:
Some cosmetics around the back and inside
Rolling of arches
See if I can sort out the bonnet alignment (or maybe carbon hood)
new bonnet insulation
Re-tint of windows
Dyeing and restoring inside carpets (to black)
Upgrade of Audio System.
Fixing the cigarette lighter
Re gassing / fixing aircon
OEM Top Shock Mountings
Decent Aftermarket reclinable racing seats
TRD Gauges
upgrades brakes with braided lines

Ultimately:
Single Turbo conversion with AEM V2 Engine Management System

So yes...there is still a few stuff to attend to...and hopefully my bank account will hold it out. I doubt if I would get everything done this year but I will start as soon as possible.

@Mr_T: Thanks man! I very happy. Really does the car justice.

Do you maybe know where I could find OEM top suspension mountings?
Like from Scrap yards / drifters etc.?
Or maybe someone that changed their supra suspension and no longer require the OEM top mountings?

Thanks

@OppositeLockMT: lol quite a cool movie that! My first Supra I ever drove in was in Namibie (2011 Dec)and it was also orange! We took it on that long straight salt roads (Henties Baai)....all I can say is...man oh man...I just had to have a Supra!

Ps: I managed to find a guy with a Supra, he is "giving" me his whole OEM suspension/ including the top mountings etc. etc.
What a nice chap. If it fits...I will obviously offer him something for them. Hopefully I'll get the stuff at a good price!
My car is at Koni SA at the moment, and the suspension goodies will be dropped off around 12pm. **holding thumbs!**

Cool Thanks Thunder!

Your car will be in good hands! They know their stuff. Just the way Steve talks explains why they are so busy. :praise:
Remember that suspension article in the Speed and Sound about setup and quality springs and items... that made me feel that I took my car to the correct place!
