have u replaced the fuel filter or had the car serviced recently.

Hi
I changed the fuel filter and the only one had some black dirt in it ...so I was thinking maybe my petrol tank has got dirt in it .and it really doesn't feel like it has power ...I was even thinking of changing the engine

I have the 325i, and I have no issues where power is concerned. From what I have heard, the 328i has better torque than the 325i. Same kw, just the torque that differs. And then you get the Vanos and non Vanos engines as well.

I'm really thinking of doing a swop of engines ...is your 325 heavy on petrol

M50 I think would be the easiest to swap in due to electronics but I stand under correction....I'm sure m52's are dime a dozen but I haven't attempted a swop of any sort ever so I ja

I average around 9.3 l/100km daily driven and around 7.8 up to plettenberg bay

That's not bad ..and the 325 engine will fit into my car so I'm gonna get prices on the engine and will take it from there

I have a auto, so it's not the lightest car you can have. Not sure about the manual 325i, Daniel will comment on that. Also depends on your driving style.

Lood voet soek juice!

I'll find out everything before I go ahead ...because I was thinking of putting a turbo in my BMW but maybe a 325 engine is better

Lol!!! Gizmo.

I think an M50 will be better for turbo as it's a cast iron block as apposed to the m52 block which had iron liners.... and u could always drop the m54(e46 330i) crank rods and pistons straight in the M50 block and end up with a 2.9 l.....because displacement
