UPDATE: 2014 F30 328i Boot lid not opening - REM Replaced
Problem:- Boot lid not opening, with or without ignition on (key button or switch by driver's door) Only ODB2 diagnostic can pop the lid
Action:- Replaced and coded a used REM module (same part number and version, i.e V2)
Result:- With car off, ignition off - Seemed to work but extremely intermittently, randomly opens, randomly doesn't 50/50
Action2:- Replaced with another used REM module (same part number and version, i.e V2)
Result:- With car off, ignition off - Seemed to work sometimes, randomly opens, but more times it does not work. I need to turn on the ignition, and then it key remote pops the lid
With the original REM, could not open with ignition on, the last 2 can at least open when ignition is on
PLEASE HELP, any ideas, any pointers where to next ?will be much appreciated
