Need some advice please:

I replaced my Oil Level Sensor with one from Goldwagen. I did not install it myself. Car is fine when started but after about 20 min of driving or even less time when the car is warm the Oil Level Light on the dash comes up and stays on. When the car cools down it stays off. The level is fine. Any idea?

Then on my roof lining. I have a sunroof. the hatch that slides open was a little loose but after they fixed my car a few months ago the tore the whole thing loose. And when they did my tint the water used started to separate the lining on the rear pillars. What can i use to stick it again?

Thanks guys!

Jip. Stays on. Old one came on for about 10 sec then disappeared. Thats why i replaced it. New one, also yellow light, comes on after 20 min and then stays on

Frustrating when new parts dont work. Installation cost down the drain.

Will go look for the receipt.

Thanks guys!

Ps. Any advice on the contact adhesive for lining?

Well, since you are probably busy dealing with the sludge problem and therefore more frequent oil changes, I would just get a new oil level sensor and have it fitted at the next service. Annoying to fit a dud part! :nonono:

Thanks Phillip. Good advice. Just not sure if the warranty on the part will be over when next oil change comes. Must find that receipt
