Help: E36 Harmon Kardon Amp

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone may have a wiring diagram for an e36 HK amp or the knowledge on how to wire one. from what I heard, you need an Oscilliscope to measure frequencies and polarity when connecting it. I currently have an aftermarket mp3 player installed but would like to get the amp connected.
I've tried google on this one but haven't found much that will help.
Any suggestions or feedback will be highly appreciated

What makes this amp different from connecting any other amp?

it has high level inputs instead of rca's not sure what else. I just havent tried it out as yet. But i know it works coz the original head unit played through it. I didnt know i had HK so removed the head unit and snipped off the connector
