First off apologies as I've had this beast since December and I'm only posting pics now, was just busy getting a couple of things sorted out.
Had a break from M power when I decided to switch over to the dark side of diesel after selling my E39 M5. Bought my 330d and had the full house treatment done, d/p, software, exhaust and intercooler, turned it into a monster and I enjoyed every minute I had with that car, was the ultimate sleeper. The yearning for an M returned however, and I began the search for either an E46 M3 or Z4M Coupe which were next on my list of M cars I wanted (S54). The Z4M was taken off the list the first time I sat in one as it was basically too much of a tight fit being 6'4" and a biggish guy, so E46 it was. Searched for a long time for one and I'd basically given up and decided to keep the D when this one came up and I bought it.
It is a 2006 E46 M3, carbon black with black leather interior which is my favourite colour for the E46 so was lucky there!
Bought the car with 125000km on the clock, currently just clicked over to 130000km, Full service history up till 100000km with BMW on motorplan and one service done at an indy out of motorplan.
Things I did on the car just after purchasing:
- had the front bumper done due to a scrape on the one side.
- had the rims refurbed due to slight curb rash, decided to do them in a finish called RS silver as opposed to the shadowline as I prefer this finish on a dark car.
- new tyres all round
- new disks and pads all round
- new air-con belt and tensioner
- new propshaft coupling, CV and centre bearing
- oil service
- couple of other small things as I wanted to get the car into the best condition I could.
- car is going to Peter/Alexander for vanos seals and valve clearances, dropping it off later this evening.
