I was in two minds posting about this, probably more lazy.
Anyway, decided to share it, since this is a fanatics forum and maybe some here will enjoy it.
I have been looking for a decent family SUV ever since the arrival of my daughter who is 9 months old now, drove many and was never completely satisfied. I even tried some double cabs, enjoyed the Wildtrak (it really is awsome), but was to nervous to buy a Ford, even if its 1% possibility of it burning, no way was I going to risk it. Somewhere at the back of my mind, I knew it had to be a BMW, but which one?
My wife had her sights set on something fun, she wanted this for a long time, even before I bought the M135i. I finally managed to convince her to get it, since we will have a family car.

I am thoroughly enjoying both the cars. Surprised by how different the 440i is from the M135i in power delivery and ride quality. Its more refine, less drama. Beautiful car, I really can't fault it. Haven't had much of a chance to have a proper spirited drive but I already know, its very capable of providing a good thrill.
The X3 is my first Diesel car, it goes well. The low down torque is nice, For something of it's size, its delivers well enough for me. It's very comfortable. Loving it as a daily, especially since my previous daily was a manual.
I will miss the M135i a lot, it had so much character, and I had a few scares, and some really pleasant surprises. It takes a lot more to get the 440i throwing out the rear. The M135i is by far One of the best hot hatches IMO.
